WANGDA SHOWCASES is awarded with the official contract valued US$3,222,164.18 to design,supply and install museum display cases for all the galleries of National Maritime Museum, the first National-class museum with maritime as exhibition theme.The National Maritime Museum represent chronicling China’s maritime and naval history.

With With an investment of 2 billion CNY and covering exhibition area 80,000 square meters,National Maritime Museum of China,with same position to Palace Museum of China, could be called “Palace Museum in the Sea”. If we say Palace Museum is the iconic museum presenting China’s land civilization,then National Maritime Museum of China is the iconic museum presenting China’s sea civilization. As the first state-level comprehensive maritime museum in China, National Maritime Museum has already collected 48,000 valuable items related to sea civilization and overall 300,000.00 collections are finally targeted. It will display the natural and humanistic history of the ocean, and serve as a base for patriotic education, a platform for the exchanges of maritime technology, and an indicative facility of maritime culture. It will fulfill a wide range of functions: collection and protection, display and education, exchanges and dissemination, tourism and sightseeing. This project is a milestone in the maritime development of China, bringing an end to the history that there was no national-class maritime museum.

Exhibits include information on Pontefract Castle and Pontefract Cakes (liquorice sweets). Exhibits include finds from Pontefract Castle and St. John’s Priory, Pontefract, coins from the English Civil War, packaging from the Pontefract liquorice factories, coloured glass and locally printed material.[2] Most of the collection has Pontefract connections, including the mining history of the town.

It is adjacent to the Changsha Concert Hall, Changsha Planning Exhibition Hall and Changsha Library. It has a constructed area of 24,000-square-metre (260,000 sq ft).The collections include Bronzes of Shang and Zhou dynasties, Chinese ceramics, and cultural relic of Changsha.

Pan Yuliang’s Art Exhibition at Anhui Museum

Established in 1956, Anhui Museum is a grade-one national museum, a 4A tourist spot, a national patriotism education base and a provincial civilized unit of “Three Excellencies”. It boasts a collection of 200,000 pieces of cultural relics, with distinct local features. Representative of them are the bronze wares of the Xia and Shang dynasties, the four treasures of the study, Xin’an paintings and works of calligraphy, the ancient Huizhou documents, the three types of carvings of Huizhou and Pan Yuliang’s works of art. “The Huizhou ancient Architecture Exhibition” ranks among “the National Top Ten Exhibitions of Treasures.”

WANGDA SHOWCASE is awarded with museum display case contract to supply and install all the high-standard museum display cases for Brecknock Museum & Art Gallery project in the UK.Brecknock Museum & Art Gallery occupies an historical Grade 2 listed building, the old Shire Hall, at the heart of the town of Brecon. One of the finest small museums in Wales, it was first established in 1928 by the Brecknock Society.Built in 1842, Brecknock Shire Hall has dominated the local area for over a hundred and seventy years.  Encircled by Grade II listed iron railings, the building is one of the finest examples of early Victorian Greek Revival architecture in Wales.

WANGDA SHOWCASES is awarded with the museum display cases contract for New Walk Museum & Art Gallery, a famous museum in Leicester,United Kingdom. The New Walk Museum and Art Gallery is a museum on New Walk in LeicesterEngland, not far from the city centre.[1] It opened in 1849 as one of the first public museums in the United Kingdom.[2] New Walk contains displays of both science and art, international and local. The original building was designed by Joseph Hansom, designer of the hansom cab.[3] It has been expanded several times, most recently in 2011.

Wangda Showcase is awarded with the display case contract for Hawick Museum located in Scotland.Hawick Museum was founded in 1856 and has been in its present home, Wilton Lodge, since 1911. Wilton Lodge is an 18th century mansion house, enlarged in the Victorian era then thoughtfully redesigned as the town’s museum by Hawick Town Council after they purchased the building along with its surrounding grounds, now Wilton Lodge Park.
