The museum (also named Guansheng Palace) boosts over 3,000 bronze wares, porcelains, jades, calligraphies and paintings, most collected from Xiangtan. There are many precious collections of different times in the museum, such as the squared bronze mirror in Spring and Autumn Period, State of Yue styled bronze tripod and paintings of people in history like Xie Shiju, Chen Pengnian, He Shaoji, Zuo Zongtang and Peng Yulin.
