WANGDA SHOWCASES won the museum showcase contract for Hong Kong CLP clock tower, the iconic heritage landmark of Hong Kong. The CLP compound, consisting of the clock tower and St. George’s Mansions, was influenced by the Bauhaus school of architecture in its functionalism and simplicity. CLP Clock Tower, the landmark of Hong Kong remains one of the Hong Kong district’s few recognisable remaining pre-war features.The clock tower will house the archives of the Hong Kong Heritage Project, an initiative by Sir Michael Kadoorie to preserve history and promote the appreciation of heritage in Hong Kong.
